The River is a non-profit Christian organization founded by Russ Mason in 2014. The River operates as a Christian church, and also serves as the umbrella covering for Russ' preaching, teaching, and writing ministry. One day soon, we also hope to own and operate a retreat house for pastors, missionaries, young adults, and as a hosting site for various Christian retreats and conferences.

2023 Vision

Your contribution /  monthly partnership making an eternal impact


  • Continue to help pastor our local church and see both spiritual and numerical growth.
  • Rent a local 10'X10' space where Russ can pray, write books, prepare messages, and record Bible teaching videos.
  • Russ is excited to make himself available again to occasionally speak at other churches and pray over their members for salvation, healing, and freedom from addictions.
  • We’d like to add some additional members to The River’s Board of Trustees.
  • We feel it’s time to make some strides toward acquiring a retreat home to host pastors, missionaries, young adults, and various groups for retreats. At the very least, we’d like to start receiving donations toward the purchase/renovation of the home.
  • Finish another book that will be a discipleship resources for Christians around the world.
